Founder and chief instructor of Shoshin Issinryu Karate in Sparta, NJ. He began his training in Isshinryu Karate in 1983, and earned his black belt in 1991. Currently holds his 7th dan in Isshinryu Karate as well as his 1st dan in Aikido under Sensei O'Connor. Earned his MA in English literature and has been a full time teacher of language arts over 20 years.
