What is Karate?
Karate (literally "Empty Hand") training teaches a wide range of effective strikes and kicks as well as traditional Karate weapons.
Karate for Kids
Our Karate for Kids Program teaches kids how to stand their ground when necessary.
It builds confidence and courage along with discipline and good manners.
Does it involve fighting?
Since it's always better to avoid a fight in real life we teach highly effective self defense skills for a scenario that, hopefully, will never happen. But students will be well practiced if the situation required it.
Karate students may be encouraged to participate in controlled competitions to further enhance their character and safe application of their skills.

Both our Aikido and Karate training offers traditional weapons practice that also enhance our Aikido and Karate skills
